Here are a few in game pointers for wars and such.
1. Never camp near an opposing players dead body. When they are dead they can still see you and report to their other teammates(via phone or aim) where you are.
2. Keep the mic chatter to a minimum. When you are calling out info, such as where an enemy is, keep it short and sweet.
3. If you think a certain plan is not working, or have a diffrent plan, wait untill we are dead to discuss it (Socom).
4. Always make sure you have your quick 2 button set as soon as you start. I hate when I think i'm switching to grenades only to jump to my pistol (Socom).
5. When hiding in cover. Switch to your grenades to remain unseen. When the opposing team is looking for you, if you have your grenades ready, their guns will not jump to the ready position and thus you will not give away your position (Socom).
6. No dancing/teabagging on dead bodies during battle. If the round is over it is ok. There is nothing worse then letting your teammates down by getting shot in the back while we are in the battle, because you want to rub it in the face of the guy you just killed. That's what taunts are for.
7. We do not deviate from the war set up. If it's a 10 vs.10 and the other team has 8 players then we play 10 on 8. If they have an ineligible player(i.e. a player with a red dot on the GB roster, name diffrent from the GB roster name, or their name is not on the roster at all) THAT PLAYER IS NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE WAR. This goes for us as well. The only people who can make any changes to the war set up are GATEZ,Lie,Ice_27,& Bones73.
8. We have started setting up rosters for each war in advance. There are 4 spots that the leaders will have in every war. Always assume that LieKnuckles,GATEZ,Ice_27 & Bones73 will be in every war. This is just to keep things organized, we will have times where we will not be in a war, but there will always be at least 1 of us in a war. We will e-mail the roster for each upcoming war at least 1 day, if not more, in advance. During the week leading up to the war Bones73 will be checking to see who can make it to the war. The final roster spots for the war will be determined by who has told Bones (or Ice_27,Lie & GATEZ) that they would be available for the war. If we have more players than we need, the leaders and captains will decide who is best suited to play in that particular war. WE WILL BE FAIR TO ALL CLAN MEMBERS. All N$o members must understand that they may not play in every war, but we will get you all in wars.(Socom only)
9. We will begin to have practice 1 night a week. IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN A WAR, YOU MUST ATTEND THE PRACTICE. People who show up for the war, who did not practice, WILL NOT PLAY IN THE WAR. Even if we are short players. The only way you will be considered for a war, if you did not practice, is if you have spoken to us (GATEZ,LieKnuckles, Bones73,Ice_27) and we ok'ed it.
Practice night: During our practice we will have a run-thru of the upcoming wars maps. The first time we play a map in practice will be a "walk-thru". We will have 1 player on the side we are not choosing and the rest of the players on the side we will choose in the war. We will "walk-thru" and set up postions for people to play and responsibilities for people who start in certan positions. Idealy we want to be able to start a map,in a war, and have everyone know where they need to position themselves and not have to wonder where they are going to be. This way if somone goes down, the other teammates will know exactly where the threat is coming from, ETC. After we finish the "walk-thru", we will do our usual sparring against one another on that map.Eventualy, we will need less "walk-thrus" as we become more comfortable with the maps.
10. We need players with working mics in wars. If you are having mic trouble and can't talk or hear, please let the leaders or captains know and sit yourself out of the war for someone who's mic is working. This goes for all players in the N$o. We will make sure you get in the next war if you have to sit out.
